FitLife Total Face Mask Headgear
This is the Replacement Headgear for use with the FitLife Total Face Mask by Philips Respironics.
The inside layer of this headgear is made of soft, comfortable Lycra material that feels pleasant against the face. The other layer is made of a tightly packed, open-cell foam core that provides a soft, cushy feel. The two layers work together to make this headgear very comfortable to wear.
The geometric design and wider straps distributes forces over a greater area, resulting in less pressure points and more comfort.
EZ peel tabs allow the headgear to be quickly and easily adjusted.
Clips allow the headgear to be removed without disrupting the adjustment settings. One set of FitLife quick connect headgear clips are included.
Available in Small, Large, and Extra Large sizes
Using the right right headgear for the FitLife Total Face CPAP mask is key in getting effective sleep therapy.
Obstructive sleep apnea is a sleep disorder that may be treated with continuous positive air pressure (CPAP) therapy. Patients that have obstructive sleep apnea have difficulties getting full restful sleep. As these patients sleep, their airway collapses and obstructs their breathing, causing them to awaken repeatedly during the night. Application of CPAP to the patient’s airway can keep the airway from collapsing and allowing the patient to breath and sleep normally. Proper CPAP deliver is highly dependent on the mask interface, such as the FitLife, forming a stable seal that can be maintained for the duration of the sleep period. Good headgear that is designed specifically for the FitLife is crucial to maintaining the seal.
Headgear is very important for effective sleep therapy. Broken or damaged headgear may compromise the FitLife mask’s ability to maintain the seal, and thus reduce the effectiveness of the therapy. If your FitLife headgear is damaged, replace immediately to get the most from your sleep therapy.
