The Hybrid Full Face CPAP Mask is universal interface designed to be a nasal interface, an oral interface, or even both.  This mask system is a great solution for patients who use positive airway pressure (CPAP or BiPAP) therapy for treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

Mouth breathers who experience losses in the efficacy of their CPAP therapy can greatly benefit from this mask system that covers both the nose and the mouth.  The mask system is completely latex-free, perfect for users who suffer from latex sensitivity or allergies.

The unique design of the headgear leaves the forehead and the nasal bridge open and unobstructed.  Patients who dislike the claustrophobic feeling of more traditionally designed mask systems will find the Hybrid mask a pleasant alternative.

The more open-faced strap design gives patients a full, unobstructed field of vision, as well as the ability to comfortably wear eyeglasses while wearing the mask.  Nasal bridge pressure points or sores that can be associated with other masks are eliminated since there is no mask contact in these areas.

The premium headgear has five points of adjustability so that users can find the perfect setting to create a superior seal that is stable and supported.

Quick-strap connections can save patients the hassle of having to adjust their headgear settings every time they need to put on the mask.  Once all of the headgear adjustments have been established, the headgear can be quickly removed or put on with the quick-strap connections.

Another great feature of this mask is the swivel coupler, which allows free positioning of standard CPAP tubing and gives patients freedom for movement.  There are also ports for supplemental oxygen if patients need oxygen therapy, as well as CPAP or BiPAP therapy.

OSA is a sleeping disorder in which patients have episodes of breathing difficulty while sleeping.  These episodes interrupt the sleeping patterns of the patients and prevent them from getting quality sleep.  Breathing interruptions are caused by the relaxation of the patient’s airway muscles, causing the airway to collapse and become obstructed.

Application of CPAP to the patient’s airway keeps the airway open and therefore allows the patients to breathe normally while sleeping.  CPAP is only effective when a leak-free seal is created via the mask interface.

Mouth breathing while using CPAP constitutes a leak in the air pressure system and compromises the efficacy of the therapy.  The Hybrid mask, with its universal interface design, is a great solution to this problem.

Check out the Hybrid Full Face CPAP mask for a great CPAP and BiPAP interface system.
